I'm looking for a bit of help here. It is an idea to work with, who I consider to be the top 2 planeswalkers currently in Standard, and create the new Caw-Blade. I give you beast-blade.

It uses Gideon for protection and control while building up Garruk who rapidly gets to his ultimate which fires and kills off my opponent quickly. He also creates beasts which serve as Squadron hawks if I want or I can equip the swords to my skinshifter or Bird of paradise and go crazy. The main concern here is draw I believe, however I think that I can probably splash blue for ponder and still be ok. It would be similar to my Planeswalker Contagion deck, but with the new enemy dual lands coming out, it should be an easier task in general.

My question to the tappedout community is do you think that this deck will end up being viable.

card:Hunter's Insight is a very nice card provided you don't have Feast and Famine on your guy at the moment. Garruk alone is pretty good draw. Rites of Flourishing is best against mid-game decks, decent against aggro and burn. Don't use it against control ever except maybe MBC.

To be honest I've never actually used his -3 ability in play. I typically am able to use his +1 until I use his -6 and then I typically win the game. Especially when Gideon is on the field. Hunter's insight is a great idea though. Thanks.
