Beginning Idea's for Hexproof Control G/W/U

I'm starting to put together ideas for a semi-budget G/W/U Hexproof Control deck. How does this basis look for core creatures?
18 Creatures
4x Gladecover Scout
4x Ascended Lawmage
2x Sigarda, Host of Herons
4x Loxodon Smiter
4x Witchstalker
I would add Fiendslayer Paladin . It basically has hexproof.

Hmm well I guess modern is fine.. I dont really plan on doing tournaments. Just playing buddies and people in the card shop
Woudnt a simple blue counter creature spell just take care of Fiendslayer Paladin ?

Ummm... a blue counter card would take care of any of these creatures except for Loxodon Smiter.

GreAsyG - ...That's true of every card. It's akin to saying a card is bad because it "dies to removal." A Hexproof build wants to get its creatures out quickly and before the opponent has a chance to counter them. The creatures stylingpat is listing is a good start, although Loxodon Smiter isn't hexproof, an Alpha Authority would fix that.

Add Invisible Stalker and think about Fleecemane Lion and . Then add Ranger's Guile and make anyone hexproof when you need to.

Countering Loxodon Smiter would not make it go to the battlefield. It would go to the graveyard.

Gotta find good ways to get Loxodon Smiter in the air with flying.

stylingpat, how about Ajani, Caller of the Pride ? It would give him flying plus the added bonus of double strike for only 3cmc. Plus activating this ability won't kill Ajani off, so you can still add counter from his +1 next turn. Gift of Orzhova is another possibility.

Do you want it to be Standard or Modern? Because Sigarda, Host of Herons won't be standard after Sept. 27th.
Also, remember to use brackets when linking cards.
