Deck Help forum

I'm looking for some assistance in building and refining my deck. I have a basic idea set up around what I want to do with it, but it's currently incomplete.

Please offer me pointers and suggestions for what to fill it out with and how to improve my strategy.

I've made some changes thanks to a very helpful commenter.

I there anyone else that would help me?

I've decided my core mainboard cards are Prophet of Kruphix and Horizon Chimera , while my sideboard strategy involves the Elite Arcanist /Silence combo ramped up to 11 by the Prophet. Then throw in a some card draw to keep things moving.

Basically I think I can switch between Beatdown tactics and some sort of Midrange Combo-Control.

I'm still refining my idea, so more ideas to round it out and stabilize things are welcome. =)

So the idea of the deck is to Silence your opponent every turn? Sounds like a fun deck to play against.....

But without any irony, it's good for game 1. Game two you can't expect your profets and arcanists to stay on the board. I think there is something to be done here, but you will need some counter spells to help for protecting your combo.

Yes, that's the idea. When I'm not beating their face in with my Flampling Horizon Chimera s with Bow of Nylea deathtouch, I'm making them cry/ragequit over their impotence to do anything! =D Muahahaha!

Hmmm...I did see that as a problem, though I've wondered if it was better to side in the casting denial on Game 2 to frustrate them. If I'd lost the first Game then they'll be prepping to deal with the arcanist while I switch back to smashing faces on Game 3.

As for counter spells, they'll be included for either strategy. I think it's really a matter of what counters will help me the most and when.
