Best Semi-Budget Creatures for R/B/W Midrange?

What creatures should I run in my R/B/U midrange/control deck? I'm hoping on running Mogis, God of Slaughter if I can pull one from a booster box, but other than that, I don't really know what creatures to run. If the creature cost's more than $7 dollars on Star City (that's what my local card shop bases their card prices on), then I won't buy it, and will only run it if I can trade for it (which explains some of the more expensive cards already listed).
