birthing pod Gravetiller Wurm help

When using Birthing Pod, after I sac a creature and use it to play Gravetiller Wurm, woulld the creature I saced count and give Gravetiller Wurm his 4 +1/+1 counters?

Absolutely. Sacrificing a creature means the creature moves from the battlefield to the graveyard, which is that "dies" means, which is all that Morbid looks for. Morbid Pod decks are looking stronger right now because of this interaction and Undying.
