Blessings of Nature + wild defiance

I'm making an infect deck, and I was wondering if Blessings of Nature 's counters count as being targets from an instant or sorcery spell for Wild Defiance .
I am assuming not, as you are not targeting a creature with an instant or sorcery, but rather targeting a creature with counters. and with that being said, can I use Blessings of Nature to throw some counters on a creature with shroud?
Thanks, and in case anyone wanted to see the deck, here it is: deck:some-poison-for-your-coffee

user:MR%20H3AT is correct. Blessings of Nature targets creatures. The creatures targeted are the ones you put the counters on, but it is the object that is targeting creatures. So for each creature you put counters on that creature will get an additional +3/+3 bonus from Wild Defiance . Its a great interaction. Also as stated above you may not target creatures with shroud. If however they have hexproof that is a different story.
I think that mono-green has some potential with the miracles and with wild defiance. Although I like Mutagenic Growth with Wild Defiance . pay 2 life for +5/+5. Thats pretty good.

It actually does work with wild defiance. The sorcery is targeting them then adding the counters onto them. In the text on the card is specifically says to distribute to target creatures, They are targeted meaning it does. You can not, however, add those counters onto creatures with shroud because that would mean you need to target them.
