Guys! Theros's spoiler canon so far has given me an idea.
Curse of the Swine
Sorcery XUU
Exile X target creatures. For each creature exiled this way, its controller puts a 2/2 green Boar creature token onto the battlefield.
This made me laugh a whole lot and instantly made me think of Rapid Hybridization . You'd play this with Bogbrew Witch , Festering Newt , and Bubbling Cauldron , supplemented by a couple of Crypt Ghast s, Liliana of the Dark Realms , and Realmwright . Bam! You've got a decently workable U/B flavor deck. The witch keeps turning all of the enemy creatures into frogs and boars! There's black ramp everywhere, so Corrupt and Nightmare are obvious. Maybe with some Jace, Memory Adept action and make it into a mill deck ( Consuming Aberration , Mirko Vosk, Mind Drinker , Mind Grind ), or maybe control/spot removal Doom Blade , Ultimate Price . Help me out please! I'd love to make this happen.
Dark Prophecy would likely be a nice edition. I'm just going to keep "thinking out loud" here in the comments until all of you lovely users start helping me out. Maybe even a whole bunch of Shadowborn Apostle s and a couple Shadowborn Demon and Desecration Demon ? All are possible win-cons, and it's going to be hard not to want to run one Rise of the Dark Realms (but if I can't afford the mana cost then I won't). I'm aiming to maximize flavor with this deck, but also hopefully have something that's fun to play and wins a bit. Elixir of Immortality and Vial of Poison for sure. I'd post this as a decklist if I wasn't so dependent on Theros cards. Diabolic Tutor is also a given, even if I just run 2. Mutavault is a fun one too.

Depending on how much blue I want to run, I'll have a bunch of counterspells in reserve. Psychic Spiral too. Back to black, Underworld Connections not only makes sense for flavor, but it's an excellent card in its own right.
Breaking / Entering and Tome Scour would also be nice if I'm doing this as a mill deck.
Or hey, maybe I should even splash red for Turn / Burn for EVEN MORE flavor.

Also, "Witches' Eye" from Theros. Maybe Glimpse the Future or the less-crappy Divination or the much less-crappy "Thoughtseize" or the flavor-ready "Read the Bones". Who knows, maybe mill will work pretty well for this with Traumatize in standard. This is going to obviously be a Post-Rotation deck.
