So, I'm poor as dirt, so I'm gonna have to trade for good boros rares as I pull decent rares. My question is, do any of you have low money cost suggestions to make a viable budget boros? I've poured my heart and soul into selesnya, but I'm so ready for something different.

Also, if anyone could peek at my Nicol Bolas deck, The Power of a Dragon and tell me what yoj think I would be forever grateful.

A decent Boros deck is gonna cost you somewhere in the four to five hundreds. If you're looking for a budget tier-1 standard deck, have a look at Red Deck Wins. I made one named Cherry Classic for about 100 bucks and it went undefeated at a bunch of FNMs.

Thatcher Revolt combos really well within Kruin Striker , also combos with Champion of the Parish , but he's a rare so get him in trade as and when you can, but the other two are commons and easy to get hold of.

Lightning Mauler makes Firemane Avenger as good as a Hellrider , and he's a lot cheaper.

if you need to fill some gaps:

Nearheath Pilgrim

Boros Elite

Doomed Traveler

Skyknight Legionnaire

are all dirt cheap, good boros cards.

Well, kelleher, if you'd actually looked at the deck, you would see it's not the boros deck I want to run, but I'm doing the best with what I've got. I don't even have 100 as I lost my job and am still looking for another one. Boyfriend's been paying my bills and feeding our magic habit.

Firemane's the one rare I'm really going to fight for, and you have a point with Lightning Mauler mixed with her. I have lots of nearheath, so I'll try him too. Thanks for the feed back!

Did some mods and want some feedback. I only have one Legion Loyalist right now, though. Still kinda want to run Doomed Traveler , but not sure what to take out yet...
