Check out the deck here! Boros aggro token warfare
This is my new Boros deck I'm working on. I think it looks pretty good but I'm willing to take some suggestions.
Phase 1:
We begin the assault by summoning Champion of Parish and other low cost Legion creatures like Firefist Striker , Legion Loyalist , Wojek Halberdiers and Lightning Mauler . I can continue to pressure the offensive line with Gather the Townsfolk and blocking creatures with the Legion and using Boros Charm to bring down any large targets.
Phase 2:
We continue to pressure with the the frontlines with at least 3-5 creatures on the board. By now I should also have some tokens out to give the Legion Battalion bonuses while controlling the field by zapping any potential threats with Mizzium Mortars or simply subdue them via Pacificism
Phase 3:
We kick into higher gear by gaining greater Battalion effects like [Firemane Avenger]] popping any small/medium creature that comes along. At this point we begin to summon Hero of Bladehold to generate reinforcements. Again using Boros Charm to block any sizeable creature via the indestructible option. With Lightning Mauler we can get this combo out even faster. During this phase we can also summon the fearsome Skirsdag Cultist . We can also add addition pressure with Silverblade Paladin .
Phase 4:
By now we should start to see Bloodfray Giant hit the field, depending on whether Lightning Mauler is on the field I can choose to unleash although blocking is really not it's intended purpose. He puts pressure mid-late game with trample and with the effects of the Battalion stacked. I can control the field quite easily. With Skirsdag Cultist on the field and already deployed, we should also have plenty of Act of Treason in hand. We simply rob the biggest threat on the other side of the board, and before the creature can return to the other side. We sacrifice it AND burn the player or target creature for a whooping 2 for 1. Even without the Cultist deployed, Act of Treason can turn the tides and allow the Legion a clean hit.
Phase 5:
Aurelia, the Warleader makes an appearance and starts to lead double assaults. By holding onto a Boros Charm , we can insure one final attack to seal the deal or blow up the other side of the field with an Overloaded Mizzium Mortars .
