Brutalizer exarch any good?

I run Brutalizer Exarch in my U/G control deck to deal with planeswalkers, enchantments, lands, etc... fair enough its a 3/3 creature that can either tutor creatures or rid non-creature threats but with the casting cost at 5G is it worth keeping for competetive play? I'd managed to get it out the few times i've needed it but other than that i worry that its gonna stay a dead draw if i dont slow the opponent or accelerate fast enough (then again I only have 3 accelerating spells :P)
the deck is Vorinclex in Uthuun

Personally, I like Brutalizer Exarch a lot, but I understand your concern. I'm going to leave more detailed feedback on your decklist.

Brutalizer exarch, is great with the right supporting cast, and in the right decks.
- You need to be able to very EFFECTIVELY RANP him
- It either need to be green, black, blue control deck, or a green, black, red control deck, or a green, blue red, control deck.
- should have good enough creatures that are either worth the mana spent to Exarch search a creature up, or are 5+ mana
- Should have 2,3,4 mimic vats, and easy ways to vat Exarch, so that only pay 3 mana to Exarch do stuff each turn for 3 mana.
If a deck does all that, then that deck is a good candidate for Brutalizer Exarch.

ive had it deal with planeswalkers and pesky equipment mostly, the look on their face when they assume that the most versatile removal you have as a UG player is Beast Within and Bramblecrush. i hope a UG mythic comes out, i already got my sights set on Tamiyo the moon sage. is it just me or is she in reference to the Sage of Six Paths from Naruto? :P

@mikedh1... So basically the kind of deck you're saying Brutalizer Exarch fits best in is generally a Birthing Pod or ramp deck, or a deck built around the exarch. perhaps you'd want to check the deck out first, i dont think it'd disappoint you... much. The fact that green accelerates you and blue slows your opponent shows some synergy between the two enemy colours. the deck focuses more on slowing than ramping, if certain conditions are met you could count the deck to have a total of 5 cards that ramp, in a worst case scenario it has 3. the deck uses several utility creatures but it wouldnt warrant a Mimic Vat though i definitely see where the Green Sun's Zenith would apply. my deck simply uses Brutalizer Exarch, i'm just not sure if the card is at home in the deck, and i'm not really looking to base the deck on ETB effects

Brutalizer Exarch isn't very good except in a Birthing Pod deck as a one-or-two-of toolbox card. In that respect he is very, very good.

I have have 2 Brutalizer Exarchs, in my Red,Green land destruction deck, that has 21 land destruction cards in the deck.
I use him to destroy anything I want, including lands.
And I use him to fetch Acidic Slime, and Hoard-Smelter Dragon(that's part of my Liquimetal Coating land, game lock combo.
And I also use him to search up my Charmbreaker Devils, to get my land destruction cards back from the graveyard.
And I have 2 or 3 Mimic Vats, so that I can vat him, and get rid of 1 land per turn, for 3 mana.
And I have 4 birds, and 2,3 Llanowar Elves, for 6,7 mana dudes, to ramp play him turns 4,5, 4.5 on average
Its very Brutal lol haha
