Budget B/R Discard/Control - Need Help

I'm new to the whole standard competitive play, my first standard deck is doing quite well, but I'm working on building a second budget deck for fun. It's based around quick removal and forced discard which fuels Skirsdag High Priest and Runechanter's Pike for my deathtouch creatures: Typhoid Rats or Vampire Nighthawk, or just my big baddy, Desecration Demon.

However, I've recently picked up a Rakdos's Return and am just craving to splash it in. I'll probably bring it up to a 2-of, but am looking for help as to what else to splash in to make going red worth it. I'm think I just want spells, and what comes to mind is Searing Spear and Pillar of Flame, should I just toss a few of these in and maybe take out the 'really' bad cards such as Mind Rot? Thanks for all advice

i'm also thinking Brimstone Volley might work due to Morbid.
