Budget Chalice of Life Challenge

I threw a Chalice of Life  ^Flip deck together for casual play and pissed off one of my friends thoroughly. Since he's on a budget he's challenged me to do the same and make the deck work without rares.

Any tips would be helpful. Thanks!

Personally I would do Centaur Healer and Cathedral Sanctifier with things like Healer of the Pride and Cloudshift .

*but add in Dramatic Rescue and use the guildgates for manafixing.

I would add Scorned Villager  ^Flip , Wild Beastmaster , Nearheath Pilgrim , Farseek , and card:Heroes' Reunion. Since it's a casual deck, card:Heroes' Reunion is really the best card to get your life up there for Chalice of Life  ^Flip . The main two would be to use card:Heroes' Reunion and Nearheath Pilgrim , the other three are simply for mana and agro.
