BUG Self-Mill with Varolz?

Varolz, the Scar-Striped seems really fun, and I have a decent amount of dual lands in B/G, G/U, and B/U so I decided to make a self-mill BUG deck that plays with counters. I'm thinking I can use Deranged Assistant , Grisly Salvage and mill cards with Flashback like Forbidden Alchemy to dump creatures into my graveyard, and use Jarad's Orders to keep Varolz in my hand and play him when I can Scavenge. Splinterfright would also benefit from that fat graveyard, and Corpsejack Menace with Bioshift can help move counters around when my creatures are targeted.... And hey, maybe Laboratory Maniac is an alternate win condition? This is a weird style of play but I'd like to see it done, so I wanted to hear your thoughts on the idea.
i've discovered that the Innistrad self-mill guys aren't synergistic with Scavenge. i'm trying to find a good middle ground now, though, with this deck here: BUG Self-Mill, feat Varolz. the Skaab Ruinator doesn't seem like it belong in here, but the trick with this decklist is to know what cards to Scavenge and what cards to exile. i like using Deranged Assistant to mill and get colorless mana to put the bigger creatures out faster, and the Screeching Skaab are good fodder for exile for the Skaab or Scavenge for Varolz. its sort of a situational thing, but i took out the creatures that rely on having creatures in the graveyard because they'll be exiled sooner or later from there.

there would be no reason to run varolz in this deck. reason is he not only removes cards from the grave, shrinking the effectiveness of Splinterfright and Boneyard Wurm or Kessig Cagebreakers if you run it, but doesn't have any really good dudes to work with. Varolz is at his bets when he can cheat around with cards like Vexing Devil or Death's Shadow , but he has anti-synergy with Splinterfright type cards and he doesn't give the deck anything it idnt have earlier. Its a fun archetype, and will be after DGM, but varolz isn't good for the deck.
