BUG Zombie Aggro-Mill

Need help putting the final touches on this deck. Using mill for Vile Rebirth , Deathrite Shaman and card:Jace's Phantasm. Then aggro with Slitherhead , Diregraf Ghoul , Dreg Mangler , and Diregraf Captain . Advice and comments welcome. deck:bug-zombie-aggro-mill
Well the mill is providing creatures through Vile Rebirth and makes Deathrite Shaman 's job easier as well. I don't have a lot of kill spells or counters because indirectly I'm doing that through milling. Flashback spells could cause trouble but that's where Deathrite Shaman comes in again. Enough milling and card:Jace's Phantasm becomes a one mana 5/5 which is awesome. I think card:Ghoulcaller's Chant is also helpful in returning zombies that get killed or if I ever decide to mill myself. In addition to that Diregraf Captain makes sure damage is being done to the opponent whenever a zombie dies as well. Aggro and mill may not be synergistic but I don't think that means it can't be done.

I'm just trying to warn you that your strategy doesn't make a lot of sense. Mill does nothing to stop threats from landing. You can't choose what cards get milled, and you can't do anything about cards that are already drawn or played. Your chances of milling their threats aren't great. On top of that, you're using this iffy strategy to support cards that are just mediocre otherwise. It doesn't really make sense if you're going for optimal performance. It's not that it can't be done, it just shouldn't. The goals don't play well together.

I get what you're saying but I don't agree. How about when I get the physical cards and play people I let you know how it works? I think that''ll be the only way to settle this lol. I do appreciate your help and concern though.

Sounds like the two of you will have to agree to disagree until after SS1985 takes his deck out for a test drive...

or you can play reanimator aggro and zombie apocalypse+psychic spiral+snapcaster, Mill yourself, revive all your zombies then mill them out?

Mill and aggro aren't synergistic. Your mill cards are wasting the mana that you would be using playing more creatures or kill spells, and the milling isn't really being taken advantage of.
