Building a standard Spirit deck and need help, please!

Drogskol Reaver can come out as early as turn 5 without paying it's mana cost by using Call to the Kindred (preferably on something with hexproof). I have been testing Call to the Kindred in my zombie deck (deck:ub-zeds) and it did well in casual play last night. Drogskol Captain gives all spirits a boost along with hexproof. Lifelink helps out Drogskol Reaver while Bonds of Faith boosts a Doomed Traveler or can be used (preferably after spirits are hexproof) to neutralize a threat.
I'm trying to build this deck WITHOUT geist-of-st.-traft since it's a high $ card. Open to suggestions about what to sub for him.
