I recently made a deck (Called "DRAW ALL THE CARDS") and I am wondering if I should switch out two Cancel s for two Render Silent s.

Render Silent is definitely superior, but if you start running into mana issues, try Dissolve .

choose anything over Cancel lol if you're going to sue a 3 cmc hard counter spell definitely go with Dissolve or Render Silent

If you can paw a second Venser's Journal , you can probably get away with swapping out a Reliquary Tower or two for more Plains or Azorius Guildgate . Then I'd say go ahead with Render Silent , but that's just my two bits. Just think the cost is tricky on your mana base... I'm with MaliciousMac on this one and say consider Dissolve , too.

Neither; Dissolve .
Cancel is strictly worse than Dissolve , meaning Dissolve would be better in virtually every scenario.
Render Silent doesn't really have a use in the Standard meta today. Most people are only playing one spell a turn anyways and don't have any mana left to do anything else after the first spell. That, and Render Silent is a bit tough on your land-base, especially if you're running a playset of Reliquary Tower .

You definitely shouldn't be using Cancel . The question is Render Silent vs Dissolve , and that is a debate I've been having in my deck:
I tend to agree with zandl but I'm interested in what other people think.

it probably should be pointed out that Bluejayninja's deck is casual. Counterspell would even be better

I only have one Dissolve at the moment sadly but I could probably get my hands on another one since they aren't too rare. I feel like I'll end up using Dissipate or Dissolve but I MIGHT be able to get some Counterspell s though.

If your mana base can support it, why not?
