Centaur Healer or Geist of Saint Traft??

I've seen people run Centaur Healer in a deck similar to this one of mine, but I am wondering... why? There's another 3-drop creature called Geist of Saint Traft and I am sure they are aware of this. So why the centaur and not traft?
Geist of Saint Traft isn't what you generally want to be doing, some versions of the deck run Geist of Saint Traft in the sideboard for the control mirror to speed up the deck, but generally Centaur Healer is, as Goody said a solid blocker as well as a nice bit of life gain that can combo with Restoration Angel if needed.

Centaur Healer is a very good 3-drop against aggro, which the meta is full of. It's a hearty blocker and gains you 3 life which you probably lost to their one or two drops, like Experiment One, Ash Zealot, Flinthoof Boar, etc.
