Creatureless American Control, With Guildgates?

No creatures, Crackling Perimeter and 1/1 tokens.

When The Gates Attack

I'm looking to take this to FNM and want it to be viable. I think aggro is its biggest weakness, but not sure how to address that. Any ideas?
