Creatures with cipher...

Would cards like Saving Grasp and Peel from Reality keep a cipher, say Paranoid Delusions , on an Invisible Stalker for instance when pulling it back into my hand? Question arises from say a Supreme Verdict or other board wipe and playing Saving Grasp or Peel from Reality in response to save your ciphered creature. Would I then be able to play this creature again with the cipher intact?

Since the cipher card gets exciled, I don't know of anything to get these out of excile to reuse them.

No, because the cipher is on that particular creature. If you return the creature to your hand and recast it, it enters as a different instance of that creature. Same applies with cards such as Cloudshift and Ghostly Flicker .

Are there any cards that will pull a sorcery out of exile by any chance? That's in Standard?

The only thing I can think of is Runic Repetition and that is only for exiled flashback cards. Sorry.

Hmm, I was just looking at Golgari Charm after remembering a conversation I had about Supreme Verdict . From what the guy was saying, the "or regenerate each creature you control" would save all your creatures from a board wipe.

Any truth to this? If so, this would protect my ciphered creatures and I wouldn't need to worry about getting those cipher sorceries from exile.

Both Golgari Charm and Boros Charm would work. Regenerating the creature or giving it indestructible would protect it from board wipes.

Yes, the "regenerate each creature you control" would save them from Supreme Verdict and since they never leave the battlefield the cipher spell would still be encoded on your creature.

That works for me. I have an idea for a very odd 4-5 color deck, so either would work. I'm focused more on B/U/G though.

Thanks for the replies!

As a side note: the 2nd mode of Boros Charm could also save them from Supreme Verdict since they would be indestructible.
