Derevi, Empyrial Tactician deck ideas?

I bought the new C13 pre-con with Derevi, Empyrial Tactician .
I've set up the deck list here: Evasively Maneuvering with Derevi!. I'm using the original deck list as a blank canvas to make any changes to.
What ideas could I do for the deck as a whole? Or win-cons in general. I've thought of token spawning, flicker, and tap control so far. I don't want to do flicker as the central theme.
Any ideas?

I'm trying to pick a theme, haha. I just need help and ideas. D;
A bird/wizard tribal sounds cool. But how would her effect synergize with the rest of the deck? I don't know much about birds.

I know that Wizard tribal is pretty intense, with commanders like Azami, Lady of Scrolls giving you insane card draw. Bird tribal isn't as good, although Kangee, Aerie Keeper is the go-to commander for that deck. Also Tribal decks are more to be fun than be competitive. Sure you could make a competitive Oona, Queen of the Fae faerie tribal deck, but where's the fun in that?
When I'm deckbuilding I like to go on Gatherer and just search what I'm looking for. Like creatures with the subtype bird or wizard, or cards that have sweet tap/untap abilities.
For the combo side there is an infinite mana combo with Derevi, Empyrial Tactician
-Deadeye Navigator
-Gilded Lotus
. If you have Derevi and Deadeye Navigator
soulbound and then use Gilded Lotus
to make blue mana. Then you flicker Derevi, untapping Gilded Lotus
and repeat the process.

When I first saw him all I saw was an uncounterable general whose commander tax does not apply. To me this reads as the perfect artifact Voltron commander. All of the Swords of X and Y, the Kaldra set, etc.

voltron could work, or you could go with bird/wizard tribal. I like the tribal because it was a thing when I started playing (look for a ton of cards from onslaught block)

@JWiley129 Yeah, I've heard good things about tribal Wizard EDHs. And I've heard of the combo with Deadeye Navigator , it sounds pretty awesome. I think that's what I want to do with the deck, is tap and untap fun.
@smash10101 I agree that the voltron idea would be awesome, but my problem with that is the swords alone can run up a bill of $100+ which is currently out of price range :C

I think I'm going to make a list for both and see how some playtesting goes before buying any cards.

You should really pick a theme for the deck. With Derevi, Empyrial Tactician I can see a few routes just off of reading her card:
Bird Tribal
Wizard Tribal
Tap/Untap combo hijinks
Those are the themes that jump out at me with Derevi. I've thought about running a Bird/Wizard joint tribal deck, but I haven't figured out the best way to do it.
