Descent into Madness i know this card isnt really good, but i like it..
speaking in standard i know3 ways to make it work, currently..
- with bw/bwg tokens and Lingering Souls
- zombies Grave Titan and stuff like Endless Ranks of the Dead
- something with ramp and Mind Unbound

maybe some use of Helvault? i dont know just throwing this one out there. So you stick everything you got in the Helvault and then start to Descent into Madness, using a bunch of card draw you only exile stuff in your hand, and use other stuff to make your opponent to discard their hand forcing them to exile their permanents. Once all their stuff is gone the last thing you exile is Helvault and Descent into Madness, and your left with everything you had before descent hit the field. Maybe thats too much to do i dont know i was just throwing an idea out there maybe someone else will come up with something better, i just wanna use Helvault lol.

I'd love to see Helvault used, but it has to hit the graveyard for it to return whatever it exiled, so it doesn't quite work if you exile it with Descent into Madness.
I also like the idea behind this madness card, but besides just having lots of tokens or cards, not sure what the best way to use it is.

yeah thats why u would need a huge card advantage over you're opponent lol..im starting to think something like
4x Descent into Madness4x Mind Unbound4x Tezzeret's Gambit4x Think Twice3x Black Sun's Zenith4x Sphere of the Suns1x Pristine Talisman1x Blue Sun's Zenith
or something odler like in legacy with Bitterblossom and Lingering Souls
idk its either gonna be BG/BUG/BUW or UB by the looks of it...idk though

ok im a not the most experienced MTG player and still not sure about cretin rules but i was wondering if cards like True Believer or you use Leyline of Sanctity and then transfer the control of it to your opponent with cards like Zedruu the Greathearted

doesnt work i believe, because the descent doesnt target a player.. it just makes each get the effect

Well, black seems to be getting a lot of new stuff that powers up creatures if you only control one of them, so the card will have synergy there I'm sure.
Currently, the best card I've seen to combo with this is Russel Brand, I mean Griselbrand. Draw seven... boom. And the guy has lifelink, so you can do it for as long as he can deal combat damage without, you know, the unfortunate side effect of death...
Also, I think it's worth mentioning that you can exile Decend into Madness as part of its ability if you're getting to the point it becomes a hindrance more to you than to your opponent. I'm sure the card will find ways to be better than people make it out to be. Keep in mind that this card kills absolutely EVERYTHING (except Emblems). That kind of power needs some pretty severe drawbacks.
