Desperate Newb's Plea for Assistance.

Hi. I'm a player who's new to Magic (only been playing since the Innistrad prerelease) who's trying to be creative and competitive on a budget. I've been running red-black Vampires since I started (though I've recently added a borrowed Olivia Voldaren ) but it's not really effective in the current climate.
I HATE control. I really do. I refuse to run it as a matter of principle. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

It might be helpful to recreate the deck in the deck builder and post it here, the community might be able to offer some suggestions that will improve your match ups.

Well I think Olivia Voldaren is really good in the standard climate, at least control-wise. But if you are gonna run the tribal approach, maybe Lord of Lineage Flip 's boost could help with great creatures (like the titan's) if you turn them to vamps with Olivia.
