Disciple of Bolas + Red

I've always wanted to make a deck with Disciple of Bolas but i couldn't really think of a focus to go with it
Then it occurred to me. Why worry about creatures of my own to sacrifice when i can take my opponent's.
So I've decided to do a black/red disciple of bolas deck, i just having a little trouble of thinking of fun things to do with the disciple of bolas with red.
I know i want to have Soulcage Fiend in the deck.
i'll probably want to run Skull Collector to bounce and reuse the disciple
i can think of a few fun red spells
the idea of madness and Urborg Syphon-Mage popped into my head just now.

I would certainly appreciate any ideas within black/red involving the Disciple of Bolas

That is a good point, 7-8 is a little high, i tend to go for cheaper combos usually, but i'm being stubborn this time. I really want to do a black/red Disciple of Bolas deck. i could make it work by using spells that produce mana. I had to do something similar for my red/black morph deck Morph in that deck i used Dark Ritual and Seething Song

You don't have to cast Disciple the same turn, you just have to flicker it. card:Conjurer's Closet should do nicely.

Havengul Vampire with Gravecrawler and card:Conjurer's Closet to keep flickering Disciple of Bolas , and if worse comes to worse, disciple the buffed up vampire.

My favorite combo so far involves Undying Evil , Restoration Angel and Disciple of Bolas . All you need is either one of them on the field.
Let's say you have a Disciple of Bolas on the battlefield.1. Cast Restoration Angel .2. Flicker Disciple of Bolas 3. Have Disciple of Bolas target Restoration Angel 4. Cast Undying Evil on Restoration Angel 5. Sac Restoration Angel . Draw 3 cards. Gain 3 life. Angel comes back with a +1/+1 counter.6. Flicker Disciple of Bolas 7. Sac Restoration Angel . Draw 4 cards. Gain 4 life.
3WB: Gain 7 life and draw 7 cards. :D Get something like Havengul Lich and things get even sillier. Can't think of a decently-costed red combo though, sorry. (I only play standard <.<)

Well if you want to take their creatures and sac them that is 7-8 mana which red/black decks don't see very often. However you could work with undying to sac your own creatures like card:Geralf's Messenger
