Does Sharuum and Scupting Steel combo work with revision to legendary rule with M14?

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but...

Will the Sharuum the Hegemon + Sculpting Steel + Bitter Ordeal (or any other card that fits in this combo) combo still work with the way the legend rule is being changed with M14?

I think you should need 3xSharuum the Hegemon (or 1xSharuum the Hegemon and 2xSculpting Steel ) To make this happen.

You play Sharuum the Hegemon . Then you play the second Sharuum the Hegemon . You have to sacrifice the first one, but the second one has already entered so you can't get the first Sharuum the Hegemon back to the battlefield. When you play your third Sharuum the Hegemon , you sacrifice the second one, getting the first one to play and destroying the third one, getting the second one to the battlefield and sacrificing the first one.... etc.

Then with Bitter Ordeal , combo done:)

I hope I solved your doubt!

The Q&A handles rules questions.

The combo still works. You play Sharuum the Hegemon . Then, you play (or return to play) Sculpting Steel copying Sharuum. The copy's ETB ability triggers, but it isn't put onto the stack until after state-based actions happen. SBAs force you to put one Sharuum in your graveyard, and you choose to put the copy into your yard. Then, when the ETB ability is placed onto the stack, Sculpting Steel will be in the graveyard and therefore be a legal target for the ability. The combo also works with Phyrexian Metamorph .

@DavidLechuga: Note that the legend rule doesn't cause anything to be sacrificed. Also, SBAs check before abilities are stacked.
