Does standard MRD need Nykthos? Scry lands?

I'm a little tired of my R/G monsters, so I've decided to try out an MRD build for a bit. Should I put in scry lands? (I have playsets for Temple of Abandon and Temple of Triumph .)

Also, should I use Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx ? (I have 2 copies.) If I should use Nykthos, how exaclty could it help me with this deck? Should I then find a place for Volcanic Geyser or its ilk?

Put in the temple of triumph only if you're going to be putting in Chained to the Rocks . Otherwise, I don't think you need any. Nykthos is good though, to be able to fuel an even bigger fanatic. I wouldn't go 4, but maybe 2.

yes use Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx 2 are goo enough this help you in the mid game to either throwing your hand to the board at once for final blow or cast anything you havent cast yet,you may use just Mountain IMO

@ dominick4537 If my lgs manages to get some more Purphoros, God of the Forge I'll certainly pick some up. My 2nd Stormbreath Dragon was complete luck from cracking 2 packs on a whim yesterday. (but hey, $8 stormbreath.)
