Domri Rade vs Xenagos, the Reveler

Hey guys, I've been looking at tournament deck lists and in almost all the green/red decks, domri rade seems to be more popular than xenagos, a lot of these decks feature both of course but domri rade is usually in larger quantity.
Was just wondering why this is?
My thought was that people use him as a threat for the ultimate since xenagos's ultimate isn't the greatest in the world. Or just because he's low cost and can be used to kill enemy creatures... but I'd like to hear other people's opinioons.
It's the cheapness of casting him. The fight mechanic is so good any time during the game; I remember seeing the fight mechanic getting rid of Olivia Voldaren by making her fight Thundermaw Hellkite during the previous standard block. His +1 deck acceleration is do good in Gruul, assuming that you're running a lot of creatures.
Xenagos, on the other hand, feels like a support kind of walker that just gets you to your big creatures faster. They tie together well, but the fact that Domri is a bigger, more threatening target is the sole reason he's played with a larger quantity.

Domri Rade lands early, gives card advantage and removal, and needs to be dealt with. The presence exerted by the card is a lot stronger. That's not to say Xenagos, The Reveler is bad.

He's cheaper, gives card advantage and can act as removal. He's definitely better/

artwork wise I think I enjoy Xenagos, The Reveler over Domri Rade more.I know this is a steer from the OP, but all in good spirit!

He is green/red version of card advantage and draw, something they utterly lack esp early game. Thsts why you see a lot of domi
