Door of Destinies and tokens

so im working on a token deck that will be almost 100% tokens as creatures
my question is ...what is the ruling of Door of Destinies and tokens? can i pick "token creatures" or do i have to pick the specific "token"
or am i even allowed to use it on tokens at all (besides saying like "zombies" and zombie tokens)
The creature type of a token is the token name. So you'll have to pick the token type to use it. But since you're not actually "casting" the token creature (it's usually created by an other spell or an ability) you won't put the counter on the Door of Destinies .
So overall I really wouldn't recommend the Door for a token deck.

The only way it could actually work is if you would be playing tribal spell that generate tokens like: Gilt-Leaf Ambush , Elvish Promenade or Hunting Triad as part of a elf token theme deck.

Door of Destinies would work if you can use other creatures of said type that also make those tokens or can produce them, like my former standard fnm wining (transforming to modern) G/W Myr token deck. it would benefit greatly from it. If you're going to run strict tokens you're better off with anthem like cards such as Honor of the Pure , Intangible Virtue , Glorious Anthem etc.

thanks for the imput guy's...now that im fixing it a little...do you know of a way to make "skeleton tokens" ? (outside of Mimic Vat )

To add to DukeNicky last comment the only other thing that produce Skeleton token is: Skeletonize

ok i see...the reason im asking is im trying to figure out how to get alot of skeletons out
this is my deck im trying to do this withSkeleton Armyi wanna try to squeeze those 2 green enchantments in somehow (doubling season only if i can get tokens out)

Afaik you'd have to name zombies and play zombie tokens or similar.
If you examine a token card, it's a creature, that's a zombie. There's no text on it saying it is a token. So you can't use that as a creature type.
