Dragon & Elves - Help Needed

I am building this deck as a 5th Grade graduation gift for my son. Currently he is using some intro decks and is sick of getting stomped. He has always wanted a Dragon & Elves deck so I pieced one together.

I am pretty new to this so I am hoping I can get some suggestions/feed back. I don't want to spend the money to find out it is crap :)

does he mind a straight up elf deck or a straight up dragon deck? i also have some other decks that stomp my play group consistently if you want to see them. also, do you have a budget for the deck?
