Dromar EDH suggestions
Deck Help forum

I'm building a Dromar, the Banisher EDH. I'm looking for some suggestions on ways I can cheat Omniscience early so I can abuse enter the battlefield effects, using Dromar to bounce creatures like Lorthos, the Tidemaker and other such effects. One idea I found was Entomb then use Replenish to return it to play. Any other suggestions?
Why would you want to bounce Lorthos? I don't understand that strategy. His ability only triggers when he attacks, and no amount of bouncing is going to allow him to attack multiple times in a turn. Also if you did bounce Lorthos with Dromar then you would bounce Dromar as well, given that they are both U creatures.

Oh I thought Lorthos used his abilities when he enters the battlefield. I'll have to remove him. I want to bounce Dromar and all the other creatures I control as much as possible. Omniscience makes everything free so I cast creatures on my opponents end step then on my turn bounce them and do it all over again, using Leyline of Anticipation .Thanks for the clarification ChiefBell

You could just use flicker effects like Roon of the Hidden Realm . Opening yourself up to G would allow you to use ramp like Skyshroud Claim , to get Omniscience out faster.
What about Deadeye Navigator ?

I second the Roon of the Hidden Realm suggestion 110%! Ramp is a good way to Omniscience out early. Not to mention green also has some of the best ETBs out there.

Academy Rector was a staple in all decks trying to abuse nasty enchantments. You could probably find use for Dream Halls and Future Sight in your deck.

Thanks ChiefBell and MagicalHacker. The only reason I wanted to go Esper was because it is going to become part of a five deck set, all built around the different dragons: Darrigaaz, Dromar, Treva, Rith and Crosis. I wanted each deck to utilize their dragon and this seemed best.

In that case, I'd say this dragon is probably better at just making sure nothing stays on the field with cards like No Mercy , Dread , and Dissipation Field . But there are lots of cards that combo with him like Darkest Hour , Warped Devotion , Fylamarid , Heaven's Gate , Metathran Transport , Nightcreep , Sea Kings' Blessing , Sway of Illusion , Touch of Darkness , Grand Architect , Neurok Transmuter , Scuttlemutt , Dream Coat , Sisay's Ingenuity , and Tidal Visionary . Also, dont forget about Strionic Resonator .
It's honestly a better plan in my opinion. The problem with EDH is that the only one card you can build around is the Commander. Building around something like Omniscience to work is practically impossible.

Not necessarily. If you're playing black and white you have access to LOADS of tutors.

Run a lot of artifact stuff like Sol Ring , Mana Vault , Mana Crypt , Grim Monolith etc. It is possible to have an absurd amount of mana T1 with those cards.
