Deck Help forum

Please help me with my Sharuum list! You can find it here: http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/sharuum-in-da-rooooom/

I've given a detailed rundown of my deck and it's weaknesses on the page itself. Any feedback (on this thread or as a comment on the deck list page itself) is very much appreciated!

Solid deck. It ran very fluidly in a couple playtests. I would consider running some more removal and balancing it with some other recursion sources like Unburial Rites or even Remember the Fallen . If you're not planning on abusing Sharuum's ETB then you'll definitely want some other source with which to recycle cards. Having those outlets would allow you to utilize some of the better removal in these colors (Black Sun's Zenith and Supreme Verdict come to mind). The deck is full of synergy though, for sure. If you want to keep the deck more relaxed then stick with the Esper-artifact theme; but if you want to really challenge your table mates then don't hesitate to toss cards with no flavor in, so long as they do work for you.

Thanks for the feedback! Currently I am trying to fit in the instants and sorceries on my maybeboard (just added Supreme Verdict in, will really help against those UG counter decks using Prophet of Kruphix )

A big problem with my deck is that I have not much instant speed removal, so opponent's tend to have their way with me on their turns. I have artifact-based removal that can answer almost anything (Dispeller's Capsule , Executioner's Capsule , Duplicant , Oblivion Stone ) but I can only surprise people with them if I have the Vedalken Orrery or Shimmer Myr out.

Thus far I am planning to cut Darksteel Plate and Grand Architect , to be replaced with Return to Dust and Supreme Verdict .

I'm glad you like the deck, it's my main deck so far and has never failed to be relevant in a multiplayer game! However being a slave to the artifact theme makes it fold when people gang up on you :(
