So I'm building an Omnath deck, and this is the start. I want to ramp. I want to ramp so hard. In fact, I don't even want to win the game, I just want to ramp all game as quickly as possible so in the end when it goes time for a decisive move.... I will just lose... but I will do it with mana. So. Much. Mana.

But in all seriousness, some deck help would be appreciated lol. Mainly winning through Omnath damage. Could use some more mana ramp tips if people have experience with better cards, maybe some more ways to win, or some ways to interact with other players. This deck fails hard in 1v1. Also, I could use some ideas for instant-speed mana dumping, in case omnath gets killed. Cost X spells are helpful, but I'm open to all ideas! Thanks.

PS- I'd prefer no infinite combos, although I'm always down to hear about them :P. Just would rather not run them.

This isn't very likely to happen but it is possible:

Turn 1:

Ancient Tomb > Sol Ring > Mana Crypt > Gilded Lotus > Mox Opal > Thran Dynamo > Coalition Relic > Charge relic up

Turn 2:

Forest > Genesis Wave for 13 and get more lands out. Raaaaaaaaamp.

How's that?

Helix Pinnacle is a solid win-con with Omnath, Locus of Mana

Haha ShimmerVoid (no idea how to tag names on here oh well) that looks hilarious. The perfect 7 card opening hand. Assuming I were to draw a forest turn one and genesis wave turn 2 lol. Realisticly though I think the deck wants to stay away from colorless mana when possible. Doesn't do much good and slows down early turns. Well... not if I were to do that with it, but you get the point.

As for Helix Pinnacle somebody also recommended it on the deck itself, and I think I will put it back in. I took it out thinking I wasn't ever really going to get THAT much mana. But then I played a game where I did. So I think it'll find a spot. I only worry that the people I play with (casually mind you) would get annoyed with it being a win-con after long games.

Fair enough. :)

To tag people on tappedout just do what you do for cards. Also you should put Oracle of Mul Daya in the deck. It's ridiculously good ramp!

Works really well if you can get Sensei's Divining Top or Scroll Rack alongside it.

I'll give the Oracle a shot. I'm not sold on it yet, especially since Sensei's Divining Top and Scroll Rack are out of my price range, and I feel it loses its value pretty quick, while revealing my cards to my opponents, and costing 4 mana. I took out one of the ramp spells for it, we'll see how it goes! Thanks for the comments.

If you can't afford Sensei's Divining Top and Scroll Rack , Crystal Ball is a pretty handy substitute.

You should also run Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx , and Into the Wilds , for even more ramp.
