I like it a lot, since I've been playing Esper for the past year, but personally I'll be playing UB post rotation. The reason being that a) to play Esper you have to play about 6 ETB tapped lands, which slows you down quite a bit, and b) 12 of your other lands shock you if you play them untapped - this life loss, combined with Thoughtseize and Read the Bones , means aggro is practically auto-lose.
If you go UB, you replace Revelation with Opportunity (a definite downgrade, but still playable), and Verdict with spot removal/Ratchet Bomb , but you gain a ton of consistency.

That's true detentionsphere, but they are tap lands with upside in scry. Also the format will be slower in general due to the loss of buddy lands not only for their ability to ETB untapped but the manafixing as well. It may be wrong to go three color in this slower format but I've playtested agaist R/G aggro and the matchup isnt as bad as you would think.

@detentionsphere I was also played Esper previously, and plan to switch to UB post-rotation. Do you have your post-rotation deck list? I'd love to take a look. I was planning to go creatureless, but not so sure how that will work out in Theros.

@Xareas - I'm liking your Esper deck. I would typically add Obzedat, Ghost Council without a second thought, but your use of Blood Baron of Vizkopa as a win con makes more sense.
