have a 3 color deck with a lot of 5 and some 6 drops which do you think is better?

farseek reason is it accelerates your mana instead of putting it in your hand and the upside is it can fetch the shocklands which give you better mana fixing options. if you want a card that makes it so you don't miss land drops then I would consider Borderland Ranger over Gatecreeper Vine as well unless you are running something like Axebane Guardian besides I think a 2/2 body for 3 is better then the 0/2 body for 2.

what is the deck you are running this in I am interested to see the deck list as that makes a big difference in the decisions of card choices.

oh and the comment at the end is only comparing those two cards not all 2/2's vs 0/2's as there are good cards like Fog Bank

I'm running Gatecreeper Vine s in my deck over Farseek s and Borderland Ranger s mainly because it's cheaper, fetches a basic land OR a guildgate and it interacts well with Restoration Angel s and Undying Evil (Which I have in my deck).

Also, it chump blocks. Then again, I'm running a 5C deck. Most of the time though, Farseek is better because like what the previous poster said, it fetches your shock lands and actually accelerates your mana instead of just making sure you hit your land drops.

tldr: It depends.

Here's my deck if you are interested. deck:5c-wacky-wizards
