Can these guys work together: Totally Lost + Duskmantle Seer . Bump an opponents expensive card back on top of it's library at the end of his turn, take your's he loses a massive chunk of life?
Or will trying this just guarantee your destruction?
Check out my decks, anybody who says they have +1'd will get +1's in return.

doesn't allow for returning high cost creatures that haven't attacked or blocked, and/or high cost artifacts and enchantments.

It seems too slow and inefficient, especially since you'll have to Lava Axe yourself to draw Totally Lost unless you draw it as a dead card early in the game and hold it.

Yeah, true but i've been Ponder ing this, and Cyclonic Rift could do it at a fraction of the mana cost. Hmm might add some to my bug deck.

Cyclonic Rift doesn't top anything for Duskmantle Seer to use.

No problem. Honestly, Duskmantle Seer is probably best used as a draw engine in low-curve decks to counter high-curve decks. The moment you start trying to build around it, the less effective it becomes because now you're taking a support card and developing a strategy that relies on you supporting it. Additionally, the tempo and control decks that play cards expensive enough for Duskmantle Seer to really capitalize on are the decks that would benefit from the draw power. And Duskmantle Seer is virtually useless against aggro because it gives them more fuel (i.e. their decks have extended longevity that mitigates that archetype's inherent weakness).

Just a note towards OP: Vanishment is strictly better than Totally Lost in everything but flavor.

I agree with Goody but you won;t be able to cast Vanishment for its miracle cost if you draw it from the seer.

No, cartwheelnurd, you DO get to miracle it if you draw it from the seer.
Miracle: You may cast this card for its miracle cost when you draw it if it's the first card you drew this turn.
If you draw it from the Seer, unless you've been doing other draw things that happen on the upkeep, you will be able to cast it for its miracle cost since it will be the first card you drew this turn. It's also an instant, so you can be sure that you don't need to wait for a main phase.

You're not drawing from the seer:" then puts it into his or her hand."Never on the card does it say "draw", so instead of drawing, that card is just changing zones, from the library to your hand. Miracle never triggers.

Use Dimir Charm for best results. Honestly he is best used in a deck with a low curve and lots of draw. He's very good against mid ranged decks. Watch out for aggro, you don't want them having that extra card.

That's a good point, I'm wrong. Seer does say put it into your hand. My bad, I should remember to read cards.

That works but there's a much cheaper (and better) alternative : Azorius Charm . Need to splash for white though.
