Could I get some of you to take a look at my mill deck and let me know what you think about it? Its a work in progress, hopefully one day it will be able to take 1st at FNM.

You can view it here: Mill or Bust

I've been talking a lot about mill with my locals lately - everyone wants to do it, but they're all too limited to do it safely.

You need to run an Undead Alchemist or four. His zombies pop up whenever a creature gets milled for any reason, and the creature gets exiled. This takes cares of aggro decks and reanimator builds - two archetypes that are big in standard right now. This makes zombies, which mill more cards or act as blockers that keep you from dying while you mill. You should run Wight of Precinct Six, but more than one or two Consuming Aberrations is too much. The extra slots should be dedicated to targeted removal or counterspells.

Ideally, your only mill engines would be one or two spells that last a long time, like Curse of the Bloody Tome or Jace, Memory Adept to kick it off, with an aggro zombie buildup to sustain and finish.

2 Curse of the Bloody Tome

Crap, add 2x each of Swamp and Island. I can't math this early.

try dropping 2x Mind Grind for 2x Paranoid Delusions I think it would work well with your phantasms once they get buffed. Cipher delusions onto your phantasms and the opponent will often have to choose between losing a creature or losing a chunk of life and milling more cards
