First Deck, Modern Monoblack Vampires

Deck Help forum

Hi. I've played MTG sporadically for three or four years now. A year or two ago I gave away all my cards, but I'd like to get back into it. I've been playing a lot of Magic 2012 on PC, and I've had fun playing with the Monoblack Vampires deck, but it's definitely a far from perfect deck. Also, I'm a college kid with a low budget. Buying more magic cards == eating more ramen.

I've made three decks (http://tappedout.net/users/keattz/mtg-decks/). The "Ideal" deck includes all the cards I really want, and the cheap deck replaces the most expensive cards (> $1) with cheaper alternatives. The fun deck strives to add some more powerful cards ("fun") without raising the cost too much. I think the only differences are the Vampire Nocturnuses and Kalastria Highborns.

So yeah, I basically have no idea what I'm doing. Any thoughts, advice, criticisms, etc?
