First ever deck: U/G

I'm completely new to magic and I wanted to try and build a deck from scratch but I need some tips regarding card choices and things like that.

My deck idea, in short, is to use blue to draw and green to provide instant buffs to creatures. There's a more thorough description on the deck page.

Please could you give some proper criticism regarding card choice and what I should be aiming for? I'm not even sure if this idea will work at all!
