FNM Deck help

Just got back into magic after about 6 years away and decided to hop into some FNM. So I started with the Spiraling doom deck and worked on beefing it up a bit, really playing on the undying side.

Undying Pod Is where I settled after picking up some singles. The only deck I've tested it against is white/blue so I've never had a chance to test it with Birthing Pod doing it's job, thanks to Oblivion Ring . All the same it still took 9/10 matches thanks to card:Geralf's Messenger and Myr Battlesphere .

Any tips or suggestions are welcome!
