It already separates the deck into instants sorceries, etc but I would like to do that as well as have separate sections. I am building modular commander decks and right now I have the modules in the description but I would like them as part of the list. Danny Modular Deck Test
You use the "#" symbol for categories, and there are two ways to list cards within a category.
The first is to add "#Category_Name" (without quotes) (the "_" is there because I don't believe this method supports spaces) after each card. For example:
1x Archmage Ascension (ZEN) #Card_Advantage
1x Dig Through Time (UMA) #Card_Advantage
1x Lavinia, Foil to Conspiracy #Card_Advantage
1x Memory Deluge (MID) #Card_Advantage
1x Treasure Cruise (UMA) #Card_Advantage
1x Arcane Sanctum #Land
1x Archway of Innovation #Land
...
The other is to add "# Card Advantage" (again, no quotes) (yes, this version supports spaces) in the deck list, and then have cards listed under it. Every card will be considered part of that category. For example:
# Card Advantage
1x Archmage Ascension (ZEN)
1x Dig Through Time (UMA)
1x Lavinia, Foil to Conspiracy
1x Memory Deluge (MID)
1x Treasure Cruise (UMA)
# Land
1x Arcane Sanctum
1x Archway of Innovation
...
That is how a deck of mine is listed in the deck edit page. TappedOut will sometimes change your formatting from one type to the other. It doesn't change anything about your deck or the categories, I mention it in case TO changes the way you formatted categories, so you won't be surprised and spend way too much time making sure nothing has changed haha.
Finally, at the bottom left of the deck edit page, make sure to change the "Default category" from "Type" to "Custom"! This will make sure everyone (including you) sees your deck sorted by the categories you made.

I'm pretty sure this is done in the same way you indicate a card is your commander.
Only instead of that you put however you want the card to be described like "draw" or "removal"
But you also need to check the custom categories box
