Fun deck turning powerful

Deck Help forum

I hade a fun deck that worked around Gift of Immortality being played on Brindle Boar . (sac on each players turn for 4 life, and other effects if I have them in play.)

As it turns out, it became a lot more powerful/playable than I was expecting.

Now I'm looking into making it better and/or more consistent.

As usual, because the deck is green, I automatically used ramp creatures... Elvish Mystic ... Sylvan Caryatid - I like ramp, but I'm never sure it it's actually called for.

My question is, should I remove these mana dorks to make the deck better, or should I leave the ramp in?

If you think I should take it out, should I tai out 1 type or both?... and what good cards would have synergies with the rest of the deck?

I don't know, but I'm going to throw these out there.

Fleecemane Lion ... just feels like it works in there and likes the ramp.

Voice of Resurgence ... another great 2 drop and token producer.

Garruk, Caller of Beasts makes the ramp useful

The one card I don't like, but you may have other ideas on, is Burnished Hart . 6 mana for 2 lands is a lot to me. Though the sac stuff is there for you built in though.

I've got 4x Voice of Resurgence in there already.

Garruk, Caller of Beasts would make the ramp a little more useful... but I don't think I have a high enough creature count in this deck... plus the deck relies on non-creatures, so having to put them on the bottom would be a bad thing. - Perhaps Commune with the Gods instead, so I can dig a little for either a creature to Enchantment if need be.

I like having the Burnished Hart , as it can be very useful. Once it gets going, it can quickly ensure you aren't drawing land each turn. - But 4x may be too many... 2, instead?

Didn't see the voices before, and I like the changes.

Thanks!

I was thinking about 1x Silent Sentinel for late game recursion of the Gift and Accord... not sure it works though.

Still lots of testing/tweaking to do with this deck.

Right now I keep switching the 2x Fleecemane Lion in and out.

I would try Auramancer over the sentinel. I don't know, but I just don't like him for an unknown reason. Fleecemane I think are 'got to start to love me', but it is an aggressive creature. May not fit well with Gift of Immortality since he's that by himself. For the most part he's a turn 2 3/3, turn 4, 4/4 hexproof/indestructible.

Yeah, Auramancer would probably be better.

Also an okay (not fantastic) target for the Gift... as each time it comes back, I can go get another gift (if there is another)... or even the same gift, if I want to put it on another creature... which I just realized as I was typing this... that make it a very good target.

I'm also thinking Ajani's Chosen works nicely with the Gift of Immortality . - Maybe not in this deck though.

And a very quick play test made me see the synergy of Commune with the Gods and Auramancer .
