Deck Help forum

Fortunately, for my store it'll be on Sunday February 26. So, I'll prob look at articles on what type did what type. Just wondering, what do you all think will be on Game Day? Will it be Geist and his little buddy? Wolves? Zombies? Infect? Burners? Control? Gimme a thought? My friend is going to use 1 of my decks, so I just don't know which deck should I choose, my aerial burner deck fire-from-above or my million man march man's-assault?

A mix of Zombies, Blue white, Green,White, Human, Spirit, Delver, Esper, Wolf Run, Werewolves, Vampires, Goblins, RDW, Tempered Steel, AKA AGGRO decks, are probably going to be there.

It will be extremely rare to see a Solar Flare, Control, land destruction, infect, rogue decks. etc

Sideboard Slagstorms, Ratchet Bombs, etc, appropiate hate for Aggro

Be especially prepared for zombies and tragic slip(-14/-14 to target creature, if morbid go off)

I would play a Huntmaster of the fells, Kessig Werewolf, Token Run deck, if you build it right with a good sideboard, good removal, etc, because that deck will do well vs pretty much everything I listed. And Full Moon's Rise, is so awesome vs all the board wipe out there. And if your Huntmaster gets O Ringed, or fiend Huntered Exile, just destroy the exiler, and have it reenter play, and give you another wolf token, and 2 more life. And if you end up in a mirror match, you will still probably win, because most players don't build their werewolf decks right, and or dont have good sideboards.

I see, but I don't have a hence, why I chose those 2 decks that I have already made. Would a mill deck be helpful? I have spot for a 3rd deck.

Mill is a Rogue Deck, would be good vs Wolf Run, Werewolf, or any deck that has a lot of 4 of's, or 1 to 3 critical cards, that make a deck work. But would be weak vs most Aggro decks, as they are fast, don't rely on 1 card, or group of cards. Also a Mill deck fuels Graveyardy Solar flare, Reanimator decks

But on the bright side, if your Mill deck is fast, powerful, mills fast, a lot, etc, then you will suprise win a lot of games, because nobody will be prepared for it.

If you do bring your Mill deck, make sure you either main deck, or sideboard 4 Surgical ExtractionMTG Card: Surgical Extraction to tear decks apart

Oh so mikedh1 ROUGUE decks are Mills? Or just a random deck such as Mono Artifact deck?

Rogue decks, are any deck archetypes that not very many people play, and that are considered weird, strange, unusual, rebellious, unconventional, etc.

Going by that definition:

Land Destruction, infect, Mill, No creatures, all burn, All Artifact, Myr counterspell(like 15 to 19+ counterspells, are all examples of what a rogue deck is.
