Geist Deck Wins Question

Is it viable to make a competitive Geist Deck Wins build without using Sacred Foundry or Clifftop Retreat? I simply don't have them and can't afford to buy them right now.
Geist.dec doesn't need to be u/w/r. It can be just as effective as u/w. Boros reckoner can still be cast without red mana and all you are losing really is some burn.

That's true...I wouldn't be able to use the first strike ability or my gisela but it coud work. Would you suggest I replace the burn with counters? What other creatures would you suggest?

You can activate the first strike ability with either red or white.

I run an esper list with Geist that has done pretty well thus far, Esper Midrange.

Any thoughts on running a few Cavern of Souls in order to provide the necessary red mana to play Gisela, Blade of Goldnight? She is a game ended when she hits the board. Especially paired with Boros Reckoner.

If you only have 1 or 2 Gisela, in your Mainboard and you have 3 or a set of Caverns then, yeah, it wouldn't hurt.
However, check how many non-creature spells you have. Cavern tends to hurt if you're running 3 colors AND you have a lot of non-creature spells.

What kind of build are you thinking about? A RWU deck with geists and aggressive creatures would probably need some way to consistently get out your geist, but with a well-crafted mana base you shouldn't need so many of the duals. It woud be best to have them, though.
