Get rid of Hero of bladehold for a faster token deck?

Should I get rid of Hero of Bladehold to make my deck Swarm and Conquer faster? I would replace it with cards like Glorious Anthem or Midnight Haunting . Or what else would I replace it with, if I should replace it all?

Honestly don't think you should remove it, it is certainly a target and not a token in and of itself, but if it isn't answered immediately it is a powerhouse and a half which can hand you the game.

That's true, but I'm finding I don't like using it as much because it's a little slower. I guess I could alter my strategy a little to make Hero of Bladehold more prominent in my deck.

If you are looking for alternate ways to push in some damage I went with a really risky but fun route back in New Phyrexia, Innistrad Standard. More or less it involved Hex Parasite , token producers and Thraben Doomsayer and I would usually win within a turn or two of him landing, Not flawless by any means but it was an amusing win method.

nah, I think I'll stick with what I have, thanks though. I'm not a big fan of Hex Parasite and Thraben Doomsayer is too slow. As you can probably tell, I'm somewhat obsessed with making this as fast as possible. On a side note my brother has started to use Propaganda against me. I hate that card so much....Ok, completely random rant over.

haha, yeah, clearly not the next big thing but I found it amusing.

Anyway, if you're frustrated with Propaganda why not sideboard some Disenchant s? They were reprinted in Time Spiral and are thus Modern legal.

Hmm...Thanks for the suggestion. I'll sideboard it. That could definitely be useful against some decks.

Sundering Growth would also be viable. Same results and cost, but you'd get a token off it.
