Get Warstorm Surge out quickly, help

I'm trying to use Warstorm Surge , but its really hard to get out as fast as i would like. Any tips on how to get it out faster. I'm using it in a red/white deck. Trying to do the Warstorm Surge and Fiend Hunter combo. The only thing i could think of was Infernal Plunge and sacrificing my Suture Priest since he wouldnt be needed anyway since im about to deal infinite damage. Is their something else out their that can get Warstorm Surge out quickly? I want to be worried about getting my combo working and not about the crazy mana cost or the warstorm.

could always go R/G/W and throw in a bunch of Birds of Paradise and Llanowar Elves

even better, just make it red-green, put in loads of ramp and get Warstorm Surge out with Genesis Wave
