Gisela & Karplusan Minotaur

Working on a deck (Gisela's Inferno) with Gisela, Blade of Goldnight and noticed Karplusan Minotaur , which might work hilariously with it.

Does the Minotaur's upkeep get paid as one lump sum of damage (so you take 1/2 x Tails), or is each flip done individually, which nullifies any damage done to you entirely?

You pay the cumulative upkeep of Karplusan Minotaur by performing some number of coin flips. If you lose N of those flips, N instances of Karplusan Minotaur 's last triggered ability go on the stack. they are all separate abilities and will be separate instances of damage.

If you have Gisela, Blade of Goldnight on the field, each 1 damage that would be dealt to you is prevented because 1/2 rounded up is 1.
