Good Deck against Illusions
Deck Help forum

My local FNM has been overrun with Illsuion decks. Everyone and their mother are playing them and winning. I want a good deck to blow them out of the water, but one thats also good enough to play against something else. So any help would be great. I was thinking maybe something with black and green, some phyrexian-obliterators, Glissa, the Traitor , and stuff that doesnt target their creatures but makes them just sacrifice them. but like i said i wanted it to be good against other stuff aswell.

low cost burn spells work very well because they have to sac them even if they get countered.

Feeling of Dread is crazy, Day of Judgment in case of a Phantasmal Image d Lord of the Unreal , Oblivion Ring the lord himself... White has lots of options.

My deck, RW Aggro, is pretty good against them. Rolling Temblor absolutely destroys Phantasmal Bear , Lord of the Unreal and Geist of Saint Traft .

RDW is usually pretty effective. Plenty of targeting burn to get rid of Lord of the Unreal , Phantasmal Bear , and Insectile Aberration Flip and Slagstorm for damage/board-wiping.
Moltensteel Dragon is great against Geist of Saint Traft and is just a powerhouse creature, in general. It can deal 14 damage if you're at 20, before using your mana.

thanks everyone for the help. I used to use my own illusion deck at FNM but then everyone else came in using their own andi didnt want to use that anymore. Ive been going using my token deck which has been doing well since they cant seem to counter or block everything in my deck. Maybe a R/W deck sounds pretty good. thanks all.

Really as long as you can get that one opening past a Mana Leak or Dissipate , there are plenty of combos out there that will really make any deck they are playing completely useless.
You have to be fast though and some of those combos out there aren't really. Werewolves is my personal favourite method for a nice fast kill that they can't do much about.
