There are spells that increase the damage of red instant and sorceries. For example, Guttersnipe and Pyromancer's Gauntlet . Grapeshot has the storm keyword, so my question is what cards work with Grapeshot to increase it's damage more than once?

Thank you CrazyLittleGuy, that does indeed. However, the other part was if there were any other cards to combine with the storm keyword so that the amplified effect, like with Pyromancer's Gauntlet , would be triggered.

@hohocacho31 I plan on using a deck in modern my next time home that can combo this card for the kill. See this amazing decklist by one Matsi883 called Storm and Eggs. Just insane how well this works and i am surprised it is not being abused in modern,... At least not yet.

In that same scenario but with Guttersnipe instead of Pyromancer's Gauntlet , you would be dealing 2 damage to each opponent and then 4 damage divided as you choose among any creatures or players. So only half the damage.

Epic Experiment and all cipher spells are a good place to start. Hidden Strings probably being the best of them. Anything that allows multiple casts for free or cheap. make sure the spell isnt a copy though because that doesnt work with the storm mechanic.

Oh! Umm, I'm not sure. I would typically search the Gatherer for cards that say "whenever" + "deal" + "additional" + "damage" or something like that, but the Gatherer seems to be down right now. I'm sure you could find some answers there when it's back up.

Might look into Strionic Resonator too to copy storm trigger.

there is a red curse. I cantthink of the name, but it enchants a player. then, if a source would deal damage to that player, it deals double that damage instead. so the Grapeshot and its 3 copies deal a total of 8 damage. if you have Pyromancer's Gauntlet on the field, each copy deals 6 damage! so the 4 copies would deal 24 damage!!

You could also use Pyromancer's Swath as long as you'll win that turn since discarding your hand can be pretty hard to come back from.

Guttersnipe would not deal extra damage from the copied Grapeshot , because the storm keyword doesn't have you 'cast' the copies. However, Pyromancer's Gauntlet would increase the damage of all copies of Grapeshot . So, if you had a Gauntlet on the field, then cast 3 spells (say, Desperate Ritual + Manamorphose + Serum Visions ) before casting the Shot, you would be dealing 12 damage divided into 4 groups of 3 to any creatures or players you want.
