I've been working on a monogreen devotion deck Monogreen beasties a while, but never really got anywhere on it because of the prevalence of RDW, MUD and MBD, & esper and usa control in my meta. I originally had either aggro/midrange in mind, but the heavy removal around is hampering my board presence and green's lack of its own removal doesn't help. What direction should I go with this deck? Should a splash another color to give it an edge?

I haven't played that long, but I love Green. My suggestions, swap Giant Growth and Warriors' Lesson for Flesh / Blood and Pit Fight . This lets you fight on your terms, and remove the dudes you need to get off the field before you swing. Mistcutter Hydra and Ruric Thar, the Unbowed will put a damper on the blue decks, and anything but the mirror will hate to see Ruric. Also, 4x Scavenging Ooze are likely to start competing for resources... I would suggest you add a Xenagos, The Reveler in place of one of them, even if it means trading an Scooze... He is really nice for only 4 mana. I play the same type of deck on mtgo if you want to playtest with me.
