Gruul defense against control

What defenses does Gruul have against control? I've got a few hexproof creatures like Sylvan Caryatid and Witchstalker , and I've got Ruric Thar, the Unbowed and Mindsparker in my sideboard, but what else can I include to beat control?
While various hexproof and protection creatures are nice. The real key to beating control decks with creature decks is either to be too fast - not likely with a more mid-range Gruul deck, or to find other ways to put pressure on them that isn't strictly creatures, most commonly planeswalkers. As the control deck they need to have answers and the more diverse your threats and the more your threats can generate additional card advantage the thinner you stretch them to have the right response at the right time until you eventually grind out a win.
Domri Rade , Xenagos, The Reveler and Garruk, Caller of Beasts offer a great suite to combating control, mostly through spitting out creatures each turn or continuing to fill your hand. This way when they do inevitably Supreme Verdict you've got resources to re-commit.
Additionally, Destructive Revelry can be very good at blowing up cards like Detention Sphere .

I play gruul. Get More Head these suggestions might help Burning Earth slows them down. Ranger's Guile to keep your creatures alive or the green 2drop that brings back creature from graveyard. Mending Touch also. Also if you know what colors they are playing, just know the obvious played cards.Control is easly anticipated.

Aggro generally beats control by just winning before they can stablize.
