G/U -- Pacing?

My standard baby is my G/U self mill: deck:dead-marshes.

But though to me it looks pretty balanced... but when playing with it lately I feel like something is off. I recently took out a pair of Thought Scour s because I felt like I had a little more milling than I really needed. And for some reason when I've been playtesting it, it seems to be too slow to get around and I don't really see what the deal is. The deck in its physical form is missing a few cards (No Codex Shredder or Wreath of Geists , with card:Autumn's Veil standing in for Sheltering Word ), and I've only been able to play against an almost-complete B/W Exalted deck, but I'm not sure how much that has to do with it.

Thoughts? Do you think it has just been bad luck, or is my deck a little jenked up?
